Off-road trials are in the Masterforest DNA. As the days get shorter and winter draws closer, it’s time for fresh air and adrenaline. Back to the off-road scene putting two new vehicles to the test: the Suzuki Samurai Green Nairobi and the Suzuki Jimny Jungle Green.
THE MASTERFOREST 419
The Samurai needs no introduction to the world of the 4×4. Renowned for its reliability and agility as a cross-country vehicle and the benchmark of smaller 4WD.
The Samurai diesel Nairobi is entirely designed by Masterforest. This 419 from 2001 has been completely refurbished by the workshop’s expert hands. Fully optimised for efficient off-road performance: more reduction with a 4.16 transfer case and modified bevel gears, longer travel with reinforced suspension kits. The new Masterforest accessories offer flexibility and robustness so you can take on off-road challenges with confidence. The Raptor paintwork completes the great off-road look.
THE MF SUZUKI JIMNY 2021 – OFFROAD OPTIMISED
The Jimny Jungle Green by Masterforest has joined the party and it pulls no punches when it comes to design and accessories. The latest 4×4 from the Japanese brand is an old-fashioned model: ladder chassis, short gearbox and rigid axles. The 2021 version of the Jimny is available as a 2-seater utility vehicle with a spacious boot. An excellent choice for road trips!
The optimal design means it is extremely efficient for touring and cross-country journeys. The strong stud of the Kumho tyres, fitted to modular rims, give it the look of a seasoned traveller and offer unrivalled road grip and hold. The Masterforest reinforced suspension kit also provides it a few precious centimetres of travel.
SPORTY OUTING FOR BONZAÏS !
Both generations are adept at aggressively tackling the challenges of private land. Although the wet and rugged terrain proved hostile at times, it was no problem for the two Japanese 4×4. They stood up to the varied tracks, a testament to the expertise of the MF team. Bumps, slopes, cross-country… no obstacle got in the way of the Suzuki 4WD.
In short, a whole lot of fun! A few hours of adrenalin later, the bodywork was barely visible under the fresh coating of mud. A perfect escape in a perfect, extreme environment for real, hard-core 4WD.
