The Retro and Limited Edition of the new Jimny!
To mark the Jimny’s 55th anniversary, Suzuki has unveiled a new limited edition, with just 55 units available in France. Masterforest, a specialist in Suzuki 4x4s, has secured the 17th unit. Let’s take a look under the hood!
Colors and retro design
This 55th Anniversary Jimny pays tribute to the first three generations of the Jimny, combining retro styling and a rugged spirit with modern features. Suzuki’s new two-seater model is available in four colors: Jungle Green, Medium Grey, Black, and White. Beneath its vintage appearance lies a range of exclusive features: a retro-style Suzuki grille, colorful retro side decals, a soft Rhino spare wheel cover, red front and rear mudflaps, and rubber floor and cargo mats. Finally, each vehicle bears a numbered commemorative plaque that proudly marks the model’s 55-year history.
Exclusive amenities
What makes it so rare is its limited production run; the famous brand Suzuki released only 55 units of the Jimny to celebrate the model’s 55th anniversary. To mark the occasion, each of these compact off-roaders comes with a fabric pouch containing a travel journal featuring an embossed leather cover—perfect for recording your most cherished memories aboard this legendary 4×4. A leather keychain is also included, along with a letter containing exclusive information from Suzuki France. Finally, every buyer receives a 4×4 driving course to hone their off-road navigation skills.
Standard equipment
The 55th Anniversary Jimny naturally includes the standard features of the top-of-the-line Privilège trim, such as alloy wheels, heated seats, air conditioning, a Bluetooth audio system, lane departure warning, automatic high-beam control, traffic sign recognition, and more.
Under the hood
Under the hood, only one engine option is available for this model: a 1.5-liter engine delivering 102 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Naturally, it also features the AllGrip PRO four-wheel-drive system.
This engine is designed to deliver good fuel efficiency and robust performance. The AllGrip PRO four-wheel-drive system ensures optimal power distribution across all four wheels, providing excellent traction and stability on all types of terrain.
Price and availability
The exclusive, limited-edition new Jimny is priced at €28,955. This latest Suzuki model will be among the last to reach the French market, largely due to new European regulations—specifically the GSR-2 standard for driver-assistance systems and rules regarding CO2 emission reductions. However, let’s not forget that the famous brand could still spring some surprises between now and 2030, just as it did with the 2018 Jimny!
